Mission Statement The mission of the Community Faculty Development Coordinating Committee is to coordinate and support UTMB community faculty development in medical education. The committee's activities include promotion of positive communications and interactions with our community faculty; development of community faculty skills in student teaching and use of educational technology; creation or adaptation of effective faculty development methods; preceptor evaluation; and research on related topics.

SELECT and PLAN projects for implementation Prioritizing needs in each community Establishing budgets to implement projects Identify and recruit local expertise Plan schedule for implementation IMPLEMENT selected projects Work with Office of Continuing Education Advertise and recruit participants EVALUATE how well community faculty needs are met
